Correspondence —

the content of messages, calls, and emails you send us, including anything you choose to include.

D2 does not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

• Prepare and respond to freight quote requests and rate estimates.
• Arrange, dispatch, and provide status on drayage, intermodal, FTL/LTL, warehousing, and cross-border shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs, and other parties needed to move your freight.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Website and its tracking and quote tools.
• Communicate with you about service, appointments, exceptions, and account matters.
• Meet our legal, regulatory, safety, and recordkeeping obligations (including USDOT/FMCSA and customs requirements).

How we share information

We share information only as needed to move freight and run our business, including with:

• Interline and partner carriers, drayage providers, and rail intermodal partners handling a leg of your shipment.
• Customs brokers and border/regulatory authorities for cross-border (US/CA/MX) and customs-brokerage shipments.
• Service providers such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and IT vendors, bound to process data only on our instructions.
• Consignees, shippers, and other parties you authorize as part of a shipment.
• Authorities and advisors where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect safety, rights, or property.

Retention

We keep website and quote information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. Shipment and freight records are retained in accordance with applicable transportation, customs, and tax recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights
